My Story

Alesana Sione (Alex) was born and raised in Samoa, a small island in the Pacific. Growing up, he trained hard and was able to compete in not one but two Olympic Games. In 1988 he represented Samoa in the Seoul Olympics competing in wrestling. Twelve years later, he again represented Samoa this time at the Sydney Olympics competing in weightlifting.

Alex has called Fredericksburg his home for nearly 20 years now. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Cheryl Crenwelge Sione, for 23 years. The couple has been blessed with 3 children, Dylan, Lexi, and Bella. He and his family are active in the community through their church, Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 4-H, and other local, programs.

Alex has worked in the machine industry for 20 years as a Floor Lead. Attention to detail is vital in his area of work. He believes that the skills he has learned from his work and his life experiences are crucial to running a successful business.
